RiverBrink Museum was the home of Sameul E. Weir, Q.C. (1898- 1981) who assembled a unique collection of paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, and books. The collection reflects Mr. Weir’s keen interest in historical fine art. Paintings by many of ‘s most significant artists, including Tom Thompson, Cornelius Krieghoff, and the Group of Seven are on display, as well as works by well-known British, European, French and American artists. Lawnbowling, the club was founded in 1877, the Niagara on the lake Lawn Bowling Club spent its first 133 years on grass, including 88 years at a green on Regent Street in the old town. In 2011 we moved to the new Community Centre on the outskirts of the Old Town. There are regulation size green with an artificial surface and excellent drainage. website
