Niagara on the Lake is a wonderful combination of history, performing arts, great wineries, golf courses and a number of great restaurants. With a population of only 15,000 people the fact that the town is a touristic destination gives the residence a great choice. The Shaw Festival, the music festival, the numerous wine and the food festivals throughout the year means there are always things to do for residents.
Niagara on the lake is actually a township with four villages and one housing development. The villages include Virgil, Queenston, St. Davids, Niagara on the Green and the largest Niagara on the Lake. Each community offers its own uniqueness but all offer a wonderful place to retire.
